Tour Portland Geology with Us by Public Transportation.
A short survey of some of Portland's geologic features that reveal its past and structure. This is a great tour for those new to geology or Portland or both. Register by clicking on "Portland Geology by Tram and Train" link opposite.
You will need a TriMet day pass for our bus, MAX, and streetcar ride.
These can be purchased on the day of the event or ahead of time through TriMet. (We especially like the new smartphone mobile ticketing app.)
The tour will start at the Oregon Convention Center MAX Station.

Please bring a lunch. We will have at least one stop where snacks and beverages may be purchased. There is also a bathroom stop along the way.
